Everything About Pirates and Wenches in Rock Hall<\/span><\/h2>\n

Day One<\/span><\/h3>\n

Pirates and Wenches Fantasy Weekend<\/span><\/a> starts on Friday, August 9th. One of the first activities you can enjoy is a <\/span>rum tasting<\/span> at the Osprey Point Restaurant. For just twenty dollars, taste five different flavors and also receive a helping of gumbo. While you take in the g<\/span>rog and grub<\/span> at this <\/span>Rock Hall<\/span> restaurant<\/span><\/a>, <\/span>\u00a0live music <\/span>sets the mood for the exciting event.<\/span><\/p>\n

The next activity of the day is at Bay Wolf Restaurant. Stop in to experience the <\/span>Sea Shanty Sing-A-Long<\/span><\/a>,<\/span> which features pirate performers and prizes for the best pirate hat and joke. What\u2019s even better, they also have some of the most delectable <\/span>Chesapeake Bay<\/span> Blue Crabs<\/span><\/a> to snack on while enjoying the festivities!<\/span><\/p>\n

Day Two<\/span><\/h3>\n

The day begins with a viewing of the <\/span>decorated dingy flotilla <\/span>gathered within the deep blue waters. All of the vessels are fighting for a chance to have their name engraved on the Gray Beard Cup! It\u2019s amazing to look at so many boats decked out in authentic pirate gear.<\/span><\/p>\n

Next, it\u2019s time for a <\/span>Caribbean beach party <\/span>on <\/span>Rock Hall Beach<\/span><\/a>. Spend your afternoon basking in the warmth of the sun, sampling more local <\/span>grub and grog<\/span>, and dancing to the tune of <\/span>live music<\/span>. Make sure you stick around long enough to hear the judges announce the winner of the dinghy decorating contest!<\/span><\/p>\n

Saturday\u2019s festivities don\u2019t stop there. In the evening, go to Waterman\u2019s Crab House to attend the <\/span>Buccaneer\u2019s Ball<\/span><\/a> featuring some fantastic <\/span>live entertainment<\/span>. It\u2019s here where you\u2019ll see the crowning of the king and queen, and you\u2019re sure to have a chuckle while watching the Graybeard Look-A-Like <\/span>costume contest.<\/span> This is a great way to end the second day of the festival.<\/span><\/p>\n

Day Three<\/span><\/h3>\n

On the final day of <\/span>Pirates and Wenches Fantasy Weekend<\/span>, the \u201cTalk Like a Pirate Contest\u201d commences. At this event, with such great impressions and costumes, you may feel like you\u2019re amongst real pirates!<\/span><\/p>\n

Then, the thrilling, town-wide <\/span>treasure hunt<\/span> begins. The<\/span> treasure hunt<\/span> is unique because it\u2019s woven all throughout Main Street in <\/span>Rock Hall<\/span> and includes participating businesses. You\u2019re given 2-hours to locate the hidden goods somewhere amidst the bustling activity of the festival. Or, meet at the gazebo to see who will be claimed the winner of the secret prize.<\/span><\/p>\n
