The meat from these tasty creatures can be used to make <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">crabcakes<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, c<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">rab soup<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">soft shell <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">crab sandwiches, and more. We\u2019re here to show you how to eat or \u201cpick\u201d steamed crabs.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">When you\u2019re <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">picking crabs\\,<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> it\u2019s not just a meal; it\u2019s an experience. Before you begin your<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> crab feast<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, be sure that you have plenty of<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> paper towels<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> on hand\u2014 you\u2019re going to need them!\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Steps for Eating Maryland Steamed Crabs<\/span><\/h3>\n<ol>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> The first step of your crab-eating experience is to take off its \u201capron.\u201d This is a flap-like shell that runs along the abdomen. You might also find a yellow, mushy substance during this step. This is often referred to as \u201cmustard.\u201d Some people love it; some people aren\u2019t fans. Give it a try and decide for yourself!
